PURPOSE:To obtain a picture of a high gradient with no fog, by providing the cleaning component which shift in touch with the roller and in the same direction and same velocity and also avoiding a contact at the development part between the nonpicture part of the electrostatic holder and the surface of the toner holding layer. CONSTITUTION:The toner supplier 3 is provided above the development roller 1 possessing the toner holding surface layer 2 to supply the one-component high- resistance toner which can be charged onto the layer 2 on the roller 1 in accordance with the turn of the roller 1. And the fog preventing cleaning component 6 composed of the conductive rubber or the like to control the amount of toner at the hollowed area of the layer 2 is provided along with the friction charging component 5 to apply the charge to the toner with a contact secured to the roller 1 and in the distance covering from the supplier 3 to the development position where the electrostatic image of the electrostatic holder 7 is developed. As a result, a picture free from any fog can be obtained. |
