PURPOSE:To provide a silicone rubber compsn. having excellent tearing strength and heat resistance, by a method wherein a polysiloxane in which vinyl gp. and hydrogen atom are bonded to the same silicon atom is blended with a conventional polydiorganosiloxane raw rubber. CONSTITUTION:(B) 10-100pts.wt. of finely divided silica, (C) 5-20pts.wt. of a polyorganohydrogenesiloxane of formula II [wherein R<2> is monovalent hydrocarbon group. (0.2-2.5% of which is vinyl group); b is 1.5-2; c is 0.01-0.5 (b+ c=1.8-2.1); m is 30-3,000] and (D) 0.01-3pts.wt. of an org. peroxide are blended with (A) 100pts.wt. of a polyorganosiloxane of formula I [wherein R<1> is monovalent hydrocarbon group. (0.01-0.3% of which is vinyl group); a is 1.98- 2.001; n is at least 3,000]. |
