PURPOSE:To realize an efficient supply of the offset solution and the cleaning web, by giving a control to the additional component of the fixing unit in accordance with the corona current which is proportional to the picture density flowing into the screen-type photoreceptor when the secondary latent image is formed. CONSTITUTION:The corona ion current casued by the corona discharger 22 is modulated in accordance with the 1st latent image of the screen 21, and then the 2nd latent image is formed to the insulated drum or the like. At the same time, the current corresponding to the picture density flows to the opposite electrode 23 of the insulated drum or the like. This current is detected by the current detecting means 24 and in the form of the both-end voltage of the resistance. And the offset oil coating roller motor, the web driving motor and others are controlled by the detection output for the fixing unit. As a result, the offset solution and the cleaning web are supplied in an efficient way and in accordance with the picture density, thus obtaining a high-quality picture through an excellent fixing process. |
