<p>The lawnmower comprises a wheeled chassis with an engine-driven rotary cutter working in a housing, together with a grass-box. The cutter comprises a horizontal shaft (16) at right angles to the travel direction and accommodating two or more spindles (31,31a, 31b) parallel to it. Cutters (40) rock on each spindle, each comprising a radial arm and a knife (35) at the end at right angles to the arm. The housing (10) is cylindrical with a horizontal axis, having a bottom opening (17) through which the knives pass, while near the top is a discharge opening (18) passing the mowings into the grass-box (19) mounted against it.</p> |
