<p>The slats for a window blind or a curtain, or for partitioning rooms in a building, are formed of a textile fabric of monofilaments of e.g. polyester, polyamide, polyurethane, acrylic or cellulose based fibres. The monofilaments are woven in coarse plain weave to form a gauze-like material. The slats or strips thus formed of monofilament yarns do not tend to twist up on themselves due to climatic changes, and they offer a satisfactory translucent quality suitable for window covering.</p> |
