Chest-type deep freeze - has groove in partition housing thermometer and scraper element

The refrigerator container consists of a cabinet having a close fitting insulated lid. The inside of the container has a dividing partition (13) forming two compartments (14,15). The first compartment is for freezing and the second for storage. The top edge of the dividing wall is fitted with a groove (21) over its entire length and width of the partition and has vertical sides. The groove is divided into two sections one of which houses a thermometer (17) and the other a scraper (19). Side slots in the groove ease the removal of the thermometer.
