The spanner set comprises a head (1) with closing plate (3) provided with square openings (4), into which the end of the operating lever is introduced. The other end of the head (1) is open and has a hexagonal inner shape in which several hexagonal box elements (2) are fitted in a coaxial manner. The hexagonal shapes of the box elements (2) are standardised in such a way that the inner shapes fit with the hexagonal head of a bolt, or with the nut, while the outside shaped always lock with the adjacent inner shape and the largest box element locks with the inner surface of the head (1). The head cover-adjacent ends of the box elements (2) are provided with shoulders (7) resting against each other. The shoulder (7) of the smallest box element (2) rests against pressure plates (6,8) and the latter against spring (5) fitted between plate (8) and cover plate (3).
