<p>A lubricant comprising an imide compound obtained by the reaction between a dibasic acid selected from the group consisting of succinic acid, maleic acid, glutaric acid, and phthalic acid and a primary amine having a C8-18 hydrocarbon residue. This lubricant may be used in combination with a specific diamine derivative and known additives for lubricants, showing excellent lubricating characteristics. </p> |
