The plough has a blade pivoted beneath a trolley. The cable being laid is attached to the rear of the blade. A vibrator is coupled to the rear of the blade and vibrates it such that it pivots or oscillates in a vertical plane along the direction of movement of the trolley. The trolley is drawn along the ground by a traction device. The plough is small and light in weight and capable of passing through gaps between buildings.
