<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the removing efficiency of phosphoric acid ion and ammonium ion in the waste water by a method wherein a waste water containing phosphoric acid ion and ammonium ion is passed through a bone carbon packed layer and, thereafter, aerated by air or oxygen. CONSTITUTION:The water to be treated is flowed into the lower part of a dephosphorizing reaction tower 1 from an introducing pipe 5 and, while passed through a bone carbon packed layer 2 from a lower part to an upward direction, contacted with the bone carbon to precipitate phosphoric acid ion to calcium hydroxyapatite crystal on the surface of the bone carbon to remove said acid ion and exhausted to an outlet part 3. Air or oxygen is aerated through a supply pipe 7 from an air diffusing pipe 8 in an upper part of the packed layer 2 and dissolved in the water to be treated. A part of the treated water containing oxygen dissolved therein is introduced to an introducing part 4 of a dephosphorizing tower 1 through a circulating pipe 9 and raised along with a water to be treated introduced from an introducing pipe 5 to swell and fluidize the bone carbon packed layer 2.</p> |
