<p>NEW MATERIAL:N-2-Chlorobenzoyl-N'-[3-chloro-4-(5-trifluoromethyl-6-chloro-2- pyridyloxy)phenyl]urea expressed by formula I. USE:A carcinostatic agent and an insecticide. PROCESS:3-Chloro-4-( 5-trifluoromethyl-6-chloro-2-pyridyloxy )aniline expressed by formula II is reacted with 2-chlorobenzyl isocyanate in a solvent, e.g. dioxane or benzene, at 0-120 deg.C for 0.1-24hr to give the compound of formula I. The starting compound of formula II is obtained by reacting 2-chloro-4-aminophenol with 2,6- dichloro-3-trifluoromethylpyridine expressed by formula III in the presence of an alkaline substance, e.g. NaOH, and a solvent, e.g. dimethyl sulfoxide, at 70-150 deg.C for 0.5-10hr.</p> |
