<p>A process for manufacturing twist filaments (7), in which two roving yarns (4 and 5) are simultaneously drawn to form individual yarns and these are then twisted together with a third finished yarn (16) of another type or a small band. Furthermore, a ring-spinning machine for manufacturing twisted filaments (7) of this type, with a creel (1) for two roving yarns per spindle (3), a drawing unit (6) for two roving yarns (4 and 5) converging parallel to one another, and a yarn-break monitor (34) arranged after the drawing unit and in front of the spindle (3) assigned to this and intended for the filaments (7) twisted from the individual yarns, the ring-spinning machine having a feed unit (13, 14) equipped with a gear for a further yarn (16) and, on the drawing unit (6), a yarn guide (30, 31, 32, 33) for the further yarn, the yarn-break monitor (34) being equipped at one end of a pivotally mounted arm (35) with two pins (36) which form a central longitudinal slot (37) starting from their free ends and intended for the twisted filaments (7) running through. <IMAGE></p> |
