PURPOSE:To suppress a coloring of a coloring component which is in a process or in a preservation, and to obtain a heat-sensitive recording material which has no ground coloring of a product thereof, by a method wherein the coloring component is crushed independently, and pH is adjusted at a dispersion stage. CONSTITUTION:When the coloring coponent [for example; 3,3 bis(dimethylaminophel)-6-dimethylaminophthalide and the like] is crushed and dispersed into a binder (for example; polyvinyl alcohol and the like), said dispersion liquid is adjusted to pH 8-11 by preferably a basic material. A developing compoNent consisting of an acid material (for example; boracid acid and the like) or phEnolic material [for example; 2,2 bis(p-hydroxyphenyl)propane and the like] is mixed to make a heat-sensitive coloring layer forming liquid, and said liquid is applied on a support matter to obtain a desired heat-sensitive recording material. |
