<p>PURPOSE:To enable a forming under a pressurized condition just after a heating by a method wherein a heater device is inserted between the upper and lower open dies, the ornamental panel placed on the lower die is heated, then the heater device is removed from between the dies in a direction perpendicular to a die fastening direction before the dies are fastened. CONSTITUTION:The ornamental panel 1 requiring a heating operation for performing a forming operation is placed on the forming die 2, the heater device 5 is moved onto the ornamental panel 1 to heat the ornamental panel 1. Upon heating of the ornamental panel 1, the heater device 5 is moved up to a position showing no trouble for compression of the forming dies 2, 4. The forming die 2 is moved by a movable block 7 at the same time as the heater device 5 has completed its movement, a fastening as well as a clamping is performed with the forming die attached to the fixing block 9, the heated ornamental panel 1 placed on the forming die 2 is pressed and formed between a pair of forming dies 2, 4. Upon completion of the forming, the moving block 7 is moved, the forming die 2 is moved away from the forming die 4, the formed ornametal panel 1 is removed to finish one cycle of operation.</p> |
