<p>A volumetric delivery device supplying measured quantities of flowing material, eso. for granules, has a rotating chamber with fixed sealing walls. It is simpler to produce and more convenient to use than conventional devices. The separator automatically separates the granule batch in the chamber from the residual quantity. The chamber (3) consists of a piece of pipe between two plates (2) contg. the opposite chamber edges and rotatable about an axis (6) eccentric to the chamber. The outer olate surfaces (F1,F2) are in sealed contacts with upper and lower fixed olates each with an opening offset w.r.t. to each other along the circular path of the pioe to allow the chamber to be filled and emptied at different points. Several chambers may be used at intervals around a circle.</p> |
