A radio communication apparatus comprising a base unit (1) connected to a wire line (3) and a radio terminal unit connected to the base unit via radio circuit. When there is an incoming signal from the wire line (3) in a state in which the radio terminal unit (2) is connected to the base unit (1), a speaker (41) of the base unit is caused to generate a ring tone. When there is an incoming signal from the wire line (3) in a state in which the radio terminal unit (2) is not connected to the base unit (1), a speaker (23) of the radio terminal unit is caused to generate a ring tone for only a predetermined time. |
