PURPOSE:To correct phase slip of the chrominance signal, by supplying the output of the first automatic phase control circuit as the phase coupling circuit for the frequency signal and the burst signal to the second automatic phase control circuit. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal synchronizing signal is supplied to the first automatic phase control circuit 4 through AFC circuit 2 and is phase-coupled with the burst signal from terminal 1B. Outputs of circuits 2 and 4 are supplied to the second automatic phase control circuit 9 to obtain frequency signals of integral multiples of the chrominance subcarrier frequency from terminals 5 and 6. The burst signal from terminal 1B and the frequency signal from terminal 6 are compared with each other by phase comparing circuit 7 to detect an initial phase error. Consequently, since the use rate of the burst signal can be enhanced without a delay element to give distortion, phase slip generated by the delay characteristic can be corrected. |
