<p>An electro-optical display of simple design is designed with a control stage adaptable to other multiplexing units. The system has two shift registers (1,2) with the outputs coupled to two-channel analogue switching stages (3,4). The drive stage outputs are coupled to the lines and columns (6,7) of a conductor matrix. The bus lines (8,9 and 10,11) that are supplied with analogue signal pairs are coupled to a pulse generator (13), containing a chain of three resistors (14,16,17) and on-off switches (18,19). The conductor matrix is connected to a liquid crystal display unit.</p> |
