Each push-button key of the keyboard has a slidably guided shaft, on which is pivotally mounted a search member which is latchable in a selected pivotal position. A slider is guided transversely to the shaft displacement direction, and has adjusting edges intended to engage each one search member. The adjusting edges of the slider are allocated to the adjacent push-button keys and lie in different planes. Preferably the edges are arranged in two planes, parallel to a row of push-button keys. The search may be mounted on the shaft in a sprung, manner for longitudinal displacement. It may contain an elongated apertures in engagement with a pin on the shaft. The head of the search member may be segment-shaped, extending over more than 180 deg. The keyboard is particularly intended for tuners in radio receivers, e.g. car radios, for transmission channel selection.
