摘要 <p>The arrangement for testing closed housing sealing by measuring leakage rate is applicable to transistorised combustion engine ignition component housinqs. It enables rapid accurate testing on a production line. Two equal vol. supply containers (B1,B2) are connected via upstream valves (V1,V2) to a compressed air supply (L). They are also connected via downstream valves (V3,V4) one to a measurement container (B3) in which is placed the housing and one to a reference container (B4). The reference container vol. equals the vol. of the measurement container not occupied by the housing. The press. difference in the measurement and reference containers is measured by a suitable transducer (D). The valves (V1,V2,V3,V4) have electromagnetic controllers (M1,M2,M3,M4). Those downstream (V3,V4) of the reservoir containers (B1,B2) are operated simultaneously to start the test process.</p>
