A resilient clip for attaching a moulding 11, 48 (referring to Figs. 1 and 5 respectively) adjacent a gap between the edge of a panel 12, 49 and a support surface 14, 51, the clip comprising a base (15, 41) adapted to rest on the support surface at 13 or 50, resilient tension means (18, 19), 47 extending upwardly from the base and supporting the comer or edge of the panel 12, 49; a tongue 22, 44 extending outwardly and upwardly from one side of the base (15, 41) and bearing against one of the major faces of the panel 12, 49 and a pair of arms 23, 24 and 45, 46 extending outwardly from the other side of the base (15, 41) wherein one of the arms 23, 45 extends upwardly and the other arms 24, 46 extends downwardly, the arms holding the opposite sides of the moulding 11, 48 against the other major face of the panel 12, 49 and the support surface 13, 50 respectively. In the embodiment in Fig. 1 the clip may be provided with projections 20 (21) on the resilient tension means (18, 19) which engage the first major face of the panel 12, the base (15) may be provided with lugs (27, 28) engaging the surface 13a of the support surface 14 and the base may include spaced downwardly extending feet 16 (17) which rest on the support surface 13. In the embodiment in Fig. 5 the clip may additionally have a stepped portion 43 on the base.</p> |
