The door hinge has a first brush (1) fastened to the door frame (6), a second brush (5) fastened to the door wing (7), and a pivot pin which is held displaceably in the first brush (1). Arranged in the first brush (1) is a spring which endeavours to press the pivot pin into the second brush (5). The first brush (1) is provided with a slot (1c). Fastened to the pivot pin is a screw (4) which passes through the slot (1c) and which can be engaged in two positions. When the door wing (6) is to be connected to the door frame (6) at the bottom by means of a conventional hinge and at the top by means of a hinge according to the invention, the pivot pin of the upper hinge is first engaged in that position in which it is located completely within the first brush (1) and the door wing (7) is hung on the lower hinge. The door wing (7) is subsequently straightened until the two brushes (1, 5) of the upper hinge are aligned with one another and the pivot pin is disengaged and, with the assistance of the spring, is displaced partially into the second brush (5) and retained again. The door wing (7) can easily be mounted in this way. <IMAGE>
