PURPOSE:To obtain high precision processing even when the taper angle changes with the progrss of processing by specifying method of calculating the work quantity-of-movement vector and upper side quantity-of-movement vector. CONSTITUTION:An arc BC of a circle is divided equally into minute segments for the purpose of folded line approximation, and every dividing point B11, B21... are connected with the center CN, where the points yielded when the extension of each connection line intersects with the Archimedes curive are designated as B12, B22.... Coordinates for the dividing points B11, B21... on the arc BC and those B12, B22... on the Archimedes curve B2C2 are determined to calculate vector n11 (=B11B12), n12 (=B21B22). Then, on the extension lines made from those line parts yielded by connecting the dividing points B11, B21... with B12, B22..., respectively, points B12, B22... are determined so that they shall satisfy the equations given on the right. Thereafter, upon assuming these divisions as straight lines, the work quantity-of- movement vector vt1 and upper guide quantity-of-movement vector vg1 are determined to drive table driving motors MX, MY, not shown in the attached illustration, with the axis components (DELTAX1, DELTAY1) of the determined vector vt1 and to drive the upper guide driving motors MU, MV, not shown in the attached illustration, with the axis components (DELTAu1, DELTAv1) of the determined vector vg1. |
