PURPOSE:To execute the maintenance and inspection of an uninterruptible power supply with safety, by containing a bypass circuit for maintenance, in a separately set cross board. CONSTITUTION:An uninterruptible power supply(UPS) is composed of a converter 1, a storage battery 3, an inverter 2, a thyristor switch TS-1, and switches connected to spaces between them. A bypass circuit 4 is for feeding a power source to a load at the time of inspecting the UPS, and is composed with the center of a thyristor switch TS-B. In order words, at the time of inspecting the UPS, a switch MCCB3 is opened and a switch MCCB4 and a switch S are closed, and from the bypass circuit 4, current is fed to. If the bypass circuit 4 is contained in a cross board separated from the UPS, a charging section can be avoided from a UPS containing board at the time of inspecting the UPS. |
