PURPOSE: To precisely and easily recognize patterns by printing and forming a pattern recognition section with an ink layer containing infrared rays absorbing agent and an ink layer of the same color but not containing infrared rays absorbing agent. CONSTITUTION: Specific pattern according to the user's desired is formed by a method wherein a continuous pattern is printed on ink containing an infrared rays absorbing agent on a substrate 2 of a magnetic recording card 1 to form an ink layer 6 thereon. Then, an ink layer 7 is formed by coating and printing an ink layer 6 according to user's desired pattern and with ink which color is the same as that of the ink layer 6 and which does not contain an infrared rays absorbing agent, thereby a pattern recognition section 5 whose entire part is the same color being formed. The pattern recognition section 5 formed as above enables the recognition of the specific pattern identifying an ink layer containing an infrared rays absorbing agent with an ink layer not containing said agent by applying infrared rays to the pattern recognition section 5 and measuring the reflected light by an infrared sensor. |
