A combustion device for burning an air-solvent mixture, for example, from a drying furnace for drying pieces painted with solvent paints, is disclosed. The device comprises a combustion chamber 3 associated with at least one primary burner 4 located on the axis or parallel to the axis of the combustion chamber 3, and at least one secondary burner 5 directed tangentially with respect to the chamber 3.
