The overall response of the acoustic enclosure provided with loudspeakers is improved. The loudspeaker (HPG) does not faithfully restore the electrical signal delivered by the amplifier (A1), especially at the upper end of its pass band. The error is logged by means of a sensor (microphone) and is added to the signal which the middle loud speaker (HPM) is to restore. This sequence can be applied several times in the same enclosure. <IMAGE>
