The device has a spray head (1) with a nozzle (3) and a plunger (4) which is arranged in the interior of the spray head (1) and can be slid into the nozzle orifice. In order to prevent relatively coarse contaminants advancing to the nozzle orifice and blocking it, a sieve insert (6) is arranged between an inlet opening (2) and the nozzle (3). The sieve insert (6) is swept over by a wiper device (7) during displacement of the plunger (4). <IMAGE>
