PURPOSE:To enable 'hauling up' of printing paper to be removed, by a method wherein rotation of a lifter shaft is regulated with a cam so established as to be interlocked with rotation of an impression cylinder, and tension is given to the printing paper with a lifter only when the printing paper is positioned at a notched part of the impression cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An arm 19 is pivotably attached to a frame 6 with a stud 18 in a swing free manner by a difference in height of a cam fixed to a cam shaft 16, and a cam follower 19' abut against a high part 17' of the cam 17 to swing the arm 19 counterclockwise. The title tension applicating device is constructed as follows. The arm 7 and a lifter shaft 4 are made to pivot clockwise against spring force via an arm means C thereby to swing a lifter 2 to a fixed position, and tension is given to printing paper A. Besides, only when the printing paper A is positioned at a notched part 3' of an impression cylinder 3, tension is given to said printing paper A by a circumferential length 1 of the high part 17' of the cam 17, and tension is not given thereto at other positions exception that. |
