A B R I D G M E N T An offshore pipe laying vessel has a rigid pipe supporting stern ramp with rollers at spaced intervals for supporting pipe being launched from the vessel on its over bend. Load cells measure reaction loads of the pipe on the rollers. The reaction loads are displayed for monitoring.
