PURPOSE:To reduce the nonuniformity of color of a fluorescent lamp during lighting to such an extent that there is no practical hindrance while maintaining the high coloring efficiency and the high color rendition, and besides to reduce the manufacturing cost of the fluorescent lamp, by laminating first and second specific fluorescent layers on the inner wall of a glass bulb. CONSTITUTION:The first and the second fluorescent layers each made of a specific fluorescent substance are laminated on the inner wall of a glass bulb. The first fluorescent layer is formed of a halophosphate fluorescent substance and the second one is formed of a fluorescent substance of a rare earth element. Furthermore, the first fluorescent layer is applied in an amount of 75-95% by weight of the whole fluorescent layers, and the remainder is the second layer. |
