<p>Disclosed herein is a reed valve comprising a reed plate including first and second faces having therein respective first and second ports, respective seats extending respectively along the periphery of each of the ports, a first reed member including a first port closing portion, a second reed member including a second port closing portion, a first set of screws mounting the first reed member on the first face of the reed plate for movement of the first port closing portion relative to the first port, a second set of screws mounting the second reed member on the second face of the reed plate for movement of the second port closing portion relative to the second port, and a shim causing one of the reed members to operate at a frequency different from the frequency of the other of the reed members.</p> |
