PURPOSE:To provide the titled alloy a high corrosion resistance without reducing an excellent magnetic property by newly adding Cr to the magnetic alloy with conventional common composition and specifying the amoun of C and N. CONSTITUTION:This Sendust alloy is provded by newly adding Cr to the conventional magnetic alloy of common composition consisting of Si: 4-12%, Al: 2-9%, and the residual persent Fe and by specifying the amount of C and N, so that a high corrosion esistance is provided without reducing its excellent magnetic properties. The alloy thus consists of Al: about 2.0-9.0%, Si: about 4.0-12%, Cr: about 1.0-15.0%, C: about 0.003-0.02%, N: 0.01% or less, and the residual percent Fe. The corrosion resistance of this alloy is further increased by applying a specified casting condition and hot working process. |
