<p>PURPOSE:To hold the reliability of data, by inhibiting the data write-in to the memory element during the battery backup, in the electric power supply backup unit of volatile memory element. CONSTITUTION:To the power supply terminal Vcc of the volatile memory element 3, the backup battery 13 is connected and also the E3 voltage terminal of the DC power supply 2 for driving is connected via the contact 11 of the relay 6 controlled for the operation with the reset signal delaying the signal by the application and disconnection of power supply with a little delay. The relay 6 is provided with the other contact 16 simultaneously operated, and the write-in of new data to the memory element 3 can surely be inhibited during the backup of the memory element 3 by the battery, by inserting this contact 16 to the write-in signal supply line 16 of the volatile memory element 3.</p> |
