<p>PURPOSE:To digest the organic waste water in a high speed and to make possible an increase of load of organic matter and also generation of high-concentration methane gas, by adding sulfuric acid reducing bacteria to the organic waste water and treating in the methane fermentation vessel. CONSTITUTION:At first, normal nutrition sources necessary for propagation of methane bacteria, such as low-molecular organic acid, inorganic or organic nitrogen source, inorganic phosphate, are filled in the methane fermentation vessel and next, digestive sludge or cultivated matter containing methane bacteria, performed accumulation cultivation and sulfuric acid reducing bacteria, are inoculated. Thus, after preparing the methane fermentation vessel, the concentration of methane gas generated from the vessel is measured and fulfuric acid reducing bacteria is introduced together with organic waste water when the concentration is reached about >=60vol%. When the organic waste water is contained much macromolecular substances of about >=4 carbon number, the macromolecule is converted into low molecular substances by previously treating the waste water in the acid generating vessel and the waste water containing the macromecular substances can be treated with a high load by introducing into the methane fermentation vessel after neutralizing with alkali.</p> |
