PURPOSE:The titled composition having improved coating properties, obtained by blending butylene terephthalate with polycarbonate and a specific polyfunctional compound. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polybutylene terephthalate, preferably having a relative viscosity at 25 deg.C in 0.5wt% o-chlorophenol solution 1.2-1.8 is blended with 0.05-40pts.wt. polycarbonate (pref. 4,4'-dihydroxyalkane one) and 0.001- 10pts.wt. at least one polyfunctional compound selected from the group consisting of an epoxy compound (e.g., gamma-glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane, etc.), an isocyanate compound (e.g., 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate, etc.) and a polycarboxylic acid anhydride [e.g., bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenyl) alkane dihydride, etc.] in molten state. Bispheol A type epoxy compound is preferable as the polyfunctional compound. |
