An incontinence protector 10 has two side walls 19, 20 which are connected at their edges, leaving an opening 21 at one side edge. The opening edge 13 forms an acute angle with one adjoining side edge 14 and an obtuse angle with the other adjoining side edge 12 so as to obtain a pointed corner 17 and a blunt corner 15.
