<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency of polishing work by providing a columnar core holder, mechanism parts of a tape driving system for VTR, etc., with a notch part, by fixing a semicolumnar core piece in the notch part and by polishing the whole outer circumferential part of the core holder in a body at a time. CONSTITUTION:Core piece 10 constituting magnetic head part 2 is formed of semicolumnar head core 11 and guard core 12. So that core piece 10 will be fitted in columnar core holder 13 of a tape guide pole, etc., notch part 13a is formed in the tape sliding surface and after core piece 10 is fitted and fixed in it, the outer surface of holder 13 and the tape sliding surface of magnetic head part 2 are simultaneously polished in a body by use of a center lathe polishing machine, etc. Next, a coil, back core, printed substrate, etc., are equipped from the reverse notch part of magnetic head part 2 and back molding is carried out to manufature the magnetic head. Thus, the polishing work operation can be performed efficiently without specially requiring the space only for fitting the magnetic head.</p> |
