PURPOSE:To obtain a highly-accurate molding of a speaker diaphragm having a complicated form, by forming the metal foil seamed into a conical shape with a force plug formed with rubber. CONSTITUTION:The metal foil 8 of titanium or the like is punched into a fan-shape and then rounded into a conical form. And the seamed areas 9 are joined by the welding, soldering or the like. This conical material is then formed by means of the metal die 14 having the formed hollow part 13 and the force plug 16 made of hard rubber respectively. In such way, the conical metal foil can be formed faithfully to the forming shape of the die regardless of the complicacy of the shape. At the same time, the use of the conical metal foil makes it possible to manufacture a diaphragm having a deep drawn shape.
