<p>The extractor for emptying engine sumps includes a pump driven by a compressed air source through a pipe (14), which has its inlet connected to a flexible pipe (17) carrying a probe (19) at its free end (18). Its outlet is connected to the end (12) of a conduit (11), via a connection (21), when the oil is emptied from the sump. The reservoir is emptied by connecting the pump inlet to a conduit end (12) via the free end (18) and the pump outlet to waste via a connection (21).
