Variable geometry motor vehicle - provides automatic stabilisation and has passenger compartment supported by separate wheeled fairings

The passenger compartment (1,2) is supported through variable position front and rear sections (11,13), by a pair of flared wings (5,4) terminating in extended wheel fairings running the full length and beyond the passenger compartment. Each fairing has a front and rear wheel. Each fairing has interior tension bars whose rigidity provides position compensation. Geometry changes are controlled from an electrically powered stabilisation control unit. This issues commands via a pair of relays to a reversible DC motor. Reduction gearing from the motor is taken via universal couplings to worm gear varying the length of the transmission shaft. The variable geometry provides automatic stabilisation over all types of road surfaces and increases the safety of the vehicle occupants.
