PURPOSE:To attain switching among the initialization and restart of a stand-by system computer system, disk pack control, communication control, etc., by an artificial electric-power-source abnormality signal. CONSTITUTION:On detecting in-use computer system A running into trouble, supervisory unit 8 sends artificial electric-power-source abnormality signal 10 to central processor 2-B, disk pack controller 5 and communication controller 6. Stand- by computer system B is initialized by receiving artificial electric-power-source abnormality signal 10. Disk pack controller 5 and communication controller 6 are released from system A and connected to system B. Next, supervisory unit 8 sends artificial electric-power-source abnormality recovery signal and a program stored in memory unit 1-B of system B is executed. |
