The stabiliser system consists of a central keel plate (8) with a weight (9) bolted at the base. Two hydrovanes (10T) are located on either side of the keel plate. The hydrovanes are pivoted to a bar in the plate, and can be fixed in various fore and aft positions. The link mechanism (15,18) is pivoted about the lever point (20) on the deck. The end of the bar (18) is attached to the horse (21) able to rock from side to side as the main sheet moves from side to side raising the trailing edge of the windward hydrovane.
