<p>The high level working platform is designed for handling by a fork-lift truck and folds up for storage. It provides a straight walkway deck in three sections (5,6,7) with a guard rail (15) to the rear and sides. A short centre section (5) may have a tubular transverse underfloor (27,28) for engagement by the truck fork. The outer sections are (6,7) connected by hinged joints. These sections are vertical and normal to the centre section when retracted, and pivot down (10) to be deployed as horizontal cantilevers. The cantilever support may use diagonal ties (19) with a guard rail post (16) and cross tie (21), or may use bracing beneath.</p> |
