<p>PURPOSE:To completely decompose the harmful substances to make them harmless as well as prevent the occurrence of the secondary pollution by providing a reaction tank in which the harmful substances are reacted with a treating agent composed mainly of a sodium carbonate aqueous solution and an adding apparatus for the treating agent. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas 1 of harmful substances if flowed from an exhaust port 3 into the reaction tank 4 into which the sodium carbonate aqueous solution containing oxygen or an oxygen-supplying substance is injected from nozzles 8 through chemical liquid delivery pipe 7 leading to a device A and a pressure supply pump 6, where the sodium carbonate aqueous solution is mixed with the harmful substance-containing gas. Unreacted gas and unreacted remaining harmful substances are directed upwards and then flowed from an exhaust port 9 into the next reaction tank 4-1 where the sodium carbonate aqueous solution is injected from a device B and brought into contact with the harmful substances 1. Similarly, the unreacted gas is directed into the next reaction tank 4-2 and a reaction tank 11, where it is contacted with the sodium carbonate aqueous solution to remove harmful substances.</p> |
