PURPOSE:To produce a plurality of resin covered metal plates simultaneously from a single metal sheet, by slitting the metal sheet at plural positions, arranging the resulting metal strips into two staggered rows, and extrusion-coating them. CONSTITUTION:A continuously running metal sheet 1 is slitted by a slitter into a plurality of metal strips, and use is made of slits 3 to arrange adjacent metal strips alternatly. An upper surface, a lower surface and side surfaces 3a of each metal strips are covered with the resin such as polyvinyl chloride by melt extrusion, and finaly connected portions of the resin covers are separated to obtain a plurality of metal plates 8 with the four surfaces of each of them covered with the resin. |
