PURPOSE:To lengthen the preservation time of a battery by employing MAlP3O10 as the positive active material of the battery whose negative active material is Li or the like. CONSTITUTION:The main component of the positive active material of a battery, which has a negative electrode 3 made of either Li or Na, is MAlP3O10 (M: a monovalent metal or a bivalent metal). With this constitution, the battery can provide a high energy-density, a superlatively long preservation time, and furthermore a high utilization rate of the active material. |
