<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the re-scattering of the dust existing at an upstream moving layer by a mechanism wherein a nonelectrolytic packed layer is formed at the outside of downstream electrodes in an electrostatic filter for a moving packed layer where granular electric insulators are continuously moved among facing electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Ventilating high-voltage electrodes 4 are formed to the center of ventilating earth electrodes 3, 5, electric insulators are filled among the both earth electrodes 3, 5, holding plates 6 are made up to the downstream of the downstream earth electrodes 5, and granular packing is previously filled among the plates 6 and the electrodes 5. A gas containing dust is supplied from an inlet flue (i), and passed through field packed layers 13, 13' and a nonfield packed layer 14, while dust is removed, and the gas is discharged from an outlet flue 2. The granular packing is fed to the both layers of the field packed layers and the nonfield packed layer from an inlet 7 for the granular packing, extracted continuously from an outlet 8 of the field packed layers, and extracted from an outlet 9 of the nonfield packed layer when pressure loss rises. Thereby, preventing the lowering of a dust rate due to the re-scattering of dust.</p> |
