Shuttleless loom weft withdrawal device - cuts down weft losses at selvedges

A withdrawal device for weft inserted into a shed on a shuttleless loom comprises a movable support with weft yarn guide means and control means for altering the course of the support. A weft braking means is also provided. The withdrawal device is intended to cut down weft yarn losses at the selvedges almost entirely, even on fabrics which are narrower than the optimum width.
