<p>The case which may house an altimeter or a depth gauge etc. The case is designed such that the read-out face is situated for reading with minimum wrist or arm movement, and is carried on an orthodox wrist strap. Read-out is displayed on one side face of a box like case with the normal front face used for carrying some form of motif etc. or photo-electric cells acting as a power source for charging the watch or instrument batteries. The display face may be inclined to provide better visibility, and the opposite face may have a translucent window and light source as a small torch.</p> |
